I've known my childhood best friend since I was around 6 or 7 years old. Late-night movie marathons, impromptu photoshoots, pool days, trick-or-treating, concerts--we've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours together. We share a love of floral, simple joy and all things cute animal. She turned 30 recently, and I was itching for both a gift idea and a deeply involved project--one inspiration led to another, and suddenly I was making her and her family as frogs. Life finds a way. 

This is easily one of my favorite things (scenes? tableaus?) I've ever created. Clay is immersive, forgiving, and a sensory joy.
